we stayed in Montecartini for a week. very pleasant and a good homebase for visiting several places. also Montecatini-Alto is a beautiful place.

Here in Montecantini Terme for a few days as home base. Went to Florence today by train. Hot and busy but beautiful sights to see. Vineyard mega meal last night meant that Dad was seedy and I was needy. We did well, even bought a wedding ring! How roman tic. Love CnG xx

Visited Siena, lots of walking up & down the streets. Very busy place. Worthwhile climbing the tower vies fantastic.
